Challenge
Velora maintained a Shopify storefront for consumers and a separate legacy portal for wholesale buyers. Neither team had visibility into the other's inventory. When promotions ran on the B2C side, wholesale pricing stayed static — leading to margin errors and customer complaints. Marketing waited up to two days for engineering to push new campaign pages.
Strategy
Rather than rebuild twice, we designed a single commerce backbone with buyer-context rendering. Segment detection at the session level determined which pricing tier, catalogue subset, and content module was served — no separate codebases required.
